Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
These terms govern your use of the MeteoFeed weather API and website, operated by AW ICT (“MeteoFeed”, “we”), Meppel, the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the API you agree to them.
1. The service
MeteoFeed provides a REST weather API that aggregates authoritative public weather sources. We may add, change or remove endpoints, data sources and features over time. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
2. Accounts & API keys
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep your account secure.
- Your API keys are secret. You are responsible for all usage made with your keys; keep them server-side and rotate or revoke a key you believe is compromised.
- Do not share keys with third parties or let others call the API on your behalf outside your own application.
3. Acceptable use
- Respect your plan’s request quota and the per-key rate limit; do not attempt to circumvent them.
- Do not use the service unlawfully, to probe or breach security, or to disrupt the service for others.
- Do not resell or redistribute raw API access itself as a substitute weather API; you may build applications and products on top of the data.
4. Fees & billing
Free and paid plans are described on our pricing section. Paid plans are billed in advance per the selected interval; quotas reset each billing period. Non-payment may lead to suspension or downgrade to the Free plan. Prices may change with notice for future periods.
5. Data, accuracy & attribution
- Weather data is aggregated from public sources and provided without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness. Forecasts are inherently uncertain.
- Do not rely on the service as the sole source for safety-critical or life-critical decisions.
- The data is subject to upstream licences. If you redistribute it, you must comply with those licences and the attributions listed on our Attribution page.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service unless a separate service-level agreement is in place. We may perform maintenance and may throttle or suspend usage that threatens platform stability.
7. Warranty disclaimer & liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, abuse, or non-payment. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
9. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date will change accordingly. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and disputes are subject to the competent Dutch courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights.
